Things to know
Prepare your documents before the school visit.
If the learner does not have a South African birth certificate with an ID number, please provide a copy of the learner's passport or asylum document.
- Two passport-size photos for the learner
- Copy of the learner's birth certificate or passport/asylum document
- Registration fee of R700, non-refundable and payable in cash
- Copy of the parent or guardian's ID or passport
- Copy of the health card immunisation page
- Proof of employment or a three-month bank statement
- Proof of residence not older than three months
- Grade R certificate and report for Grade 1 applications
- Previous school report and transfer letter from Grade 2 upwards
